Alika is passionate about anatomy and physiology, and the role that massage therapy can play in helping people find their path to wellness. She believes it is important to tailor each massage therapy treatment to fit the individual needs of her clients. Whether you rely on massage therapy to help manage stress, mental health, or for more targeted rehabilitative therapy, Alika is happy to accommodate you. Though Alika did grow up not far from Napanee, she also spent 6 years in Southern California. After graduating from Trent University with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Classical Studies, Alika had originally intended to teach. She found herself on a much different path, which lead her to discover her love for working in the healthcare field. While in California Alika studied both dental assisting and massage therapy, graduating at the top of her class from California College of Physical Arts with a Massage Practitioner diploma. Upon returning home to Canada, Alika found herself on many different paths spending time working in several different roles in education at the elementary school level, before re-certifying as a dental assistant with a diploma from KLC College. She spent 4 years as the lead instructor for the dental assisting program at KLC, which included teaching infection control and prevention. This has made Alika extremely well versed in infection control and keeping the clinic as safe as possible for all clients. After a long, and winding journey (and a brief stint working at the prestigious Ste. Anne's Spa), Alika finally found the opportunity to return to massage therapy, and graduated with honours, from the massage program at Trillium College. Alika loves education and learning, and is looking forward to continuing her education within the massage therapy field. She has recently completed a course on Evidence Based Clinical Cupping from Cupping Canada, and will be able to integrate this therapy into massage treatments. When Alika is not learning something new or giving massage treatments, she loves spending time with her amazing family, hiking with her beautiful dogs, and making jewelry and music.

I am a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) and Certified Athletic Therapist.
My journey in manual therapy began with a passion for holistic health and a desire to help others achieve wellness in their lives. I completed my training at Centennial College for Massage Therapy and Sheridan College for Athletic Therapy, where I gained a solid foundation in various massage techniques and therapeutic approaches.
In addition to massage therapy, I am also a Certified Athletic Therapist, specializing in the prevention, assessment, and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal injuries. This unique combination of skills allows me to provide comprehensive care to my clients, whether they're seeking relief from chronic pain, recovering from an injury, or looking to optimize their athletic performance.
I tailor each session to meet the unique needs of my clients, drawing from a range of techniques and modalities to promote healing and relaxation. My goal is to create a safe and supportive environment where clients can experience true balance and wellness.
Beyond manual therapy, I am deeply committed to fostering a warm and welcoming environment where clients feel empowered on their wellness journey. I believe that true healing occurs when mind, body, and spirit are in harmony, and I strive to facilitate that balance in every session.
When I'm not at the clinic, you can often find me reading and continuing learning, which helps me stay grounded and energized to provide the best care possible.
I am honored to be a part of your wellness team, and I look forward to working with you to achieve your health goals.
Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or would like to schedule an appointment. I can't wait to meet you!"
Mora has been a complementary health practitioner since 1986 graduating as a Massage Therapist from Sutherland–Chan School of Massage in Toronto.
She ran the Wild Orchid health & Wellness Centre for 14 years in Napanee Ontario and has been in active practice for 35 years.
She is a Certified Reflexologist, Yoga teacher and a Reiki Master, and incorporates Cranial Sacral therapy, Aromatherapy and Matrix Re-patterning into her manual therapy practice.
She is a Faculty member with the Foundation of Shamanic Studies, teaching classes in person and online, and offers personal Shamanic healing sessions and Shamanic Counseling as well. She also teaches Reiki and introductory workshops in Reflexology and personal development.
Always searching for ways to provide the best she could for her patients, it became apparent that physical healing was only one of the many aspects of a healthy life.
What was equally important for her was spiritual healing, the life force that guides us, and holds together the fabric of our lives.
Mora followed her instincts and connected the two in her practice.
In this case it came in the form of Core Shamanism.
She embraced it fully and undertook a three-year training program to become a Shamanic Healer & Counsellor.
Christian Konietschke a Registered Acupuncturist (R.Ac.) and Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner (R.TCMP), and studied Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine at the Institute of Traditional Medicine in Toronto, where he was fortunate to work with a diverse group of teachers from many different backgrounds. This diversity is what attracted Christian to Traditional Chinese Medicine, a system that looks at health from many different angles - such as physical, mental and emotional aspects, diet and lifestyle. Growing up in Germany, herbs and natural remedies were always part of Christian's life experience and formed his holistic approach to health and well-being.
His love of nature brought him to Canada, where he lives close to the earth in rural Ontario, homesteading, gardening and enjoying life with his wife and children.

Gillian is pleased to be offering one to one Restorative Yoga at Well Body Massage Therapy, as a stand alone bodywork session, or a complement to your individual therapeutic or rehabilitative treatment plan. The overall guiding principle of Restorative Yoga is to bring the body into a state of ‘active relaxation’ and by supporting the body with various props during gentle yoga asana, we alternately stimulate and relax the body - helping us move towards a state of true balance. Restorative Yoga can focus on the overall body or target an individual body part, and is particularly beneficial for managing stress, injury and aiding in more chronic illness recovery. It’s a soothing and well supported practice leaving one feeling nourished, well rested and restored - and a perfect accompaniment to your individual therapeutic plan. Gillian has been practicing yoga for nearly 20 years, and is passionate about the untold physical and mental health benefits of yoga and meditation practice. Starting her career as a Registered Nurse, Gillian moved her career to the corporate setting, and after having the opportunity to live and work in several countries around the world she decided to settle back home in Canada in 2016. In 2018, Gillian decided it was time to take a break from the corporate rat-race, and took her yoga practice a step further towards teaching, completing her 200hr Yoga Teacher Training in Rishikesh, India. Since then, as a self confessed forever student and lover of learning, she has gone on to certify in the modalities of Restorative and Yin Yoga and is in the midst of training as a Certified Chopra Mediation Instructor. To complement her practice, Gillian is also a Level II Practitioner in both Shamballa and Usui Reiki. She looks forward to welcoming you to Well Body Massage Therapy, while helping you embark or continue on your journey towards optimal health and wellness.
